US President John F. Kennedy in the sights of Mossad
USA, July 10, 2025 – In January 1961, Kennedy instructed the head of the CIA and the Secretary of State to block Israel’s efforts to develop nuclear weapons. It is 62 years since the assassination of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, which took place on November 22, 1963 in Dallas. Historians and politicians began to recall this tragic event less and less often. However, this year there was an unexpected surge of interest in this assassination. Experts again reviewed all possible versions of the assassination and made several adjustments. The reason for this surge in interest in the assassination of the 35th President of the United States was the signing of an order by the current 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, on January 23, 2025, to declassify archival documents relating to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, as well as his brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy (June 5, 1968), and the black preacher Martin Luther King (April 4, 1968).
“I have concluded that the continued redaction and suppression of information from the records relating to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is not in the public interest, and the release of these records is long overdue,” Trump said. In my opinion, this initiative by Trump represents an attempt to at least somewhat reduce the influence of the deep state on America. Some commentators, citing Trump’s behind-the-scenes revelations, believe that he is convinced that the deep state organized the murders. Trump is probably trying to protect himself to some extent by taking this step. So in March, in accordance with Trump’s decree, the US National Archives published 80,000 pages of declassified documents. However, even today this is not all that is to be made available to the public. But even the published materials represent a gigantic amount of information, on which hundreds, perhaps thousands of experts in the US and around the world are working diligently. Of course, materials related to the three assassinations mentioned above have been published to varying degrees before.
In early 2020, an extensive article was published entitled “Fifteen Years Before Kennedy, Zionists Assassinated Forrestal”. Its author, Laurent Guyénot, finds many similarities between the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and James Forrestal. I wrote about the assassination of Defense Secretary Forrestal in my recent article. However, those who deal with the topic of high-ranking political assassinations in America have noticed the following point. A significant number of documents that were released in the past were released this year without “notes with details”. And most of the revealed “notes” concern Israel.
Washington probably tried in every possible way to distract researchers from the version of the possible participation of Israel and its intelligence agency “Mossad” in the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy. The documents released in March, on the contrary, aroused the interest of experts, politicians and the public in this version. The version of the participation of Israel and Mossad in the assassination of the 35th President of the United States of America was almost not mentioned in the media. It could be learned about only from specialized literature. Even not everyone who is interested in the topic of the assassination of John F. Kennedy is familiar with this version. Therefore, I will briefly summarize it.
Immediately after John F. Kennedy became the White House’s president in January 1961, he tasked CIA chief John McCone and Secretary of State Dean Rusk with blocking Israel’s efforts to develop nuclear weapons (Tel Aviv had turned to John F. Kennedy’s predecessor, the 34th President D. Eisenhower, for help in implementing the nuclear program). By the early 1960s, Israel already had a nuclear energy development program; it presented it as “peaceful.” The main facility of this program was established with French assistance and was located in Dimona. In the spring of 1963, John F. Kennedy informed Tel Aviv that the United States planned to inspect the Israeli nuclear facility in Dimona. Israel postponed the inspection under various pretexts. In July, John F. Kennedy sent a letter to Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, which resembled an ultimatum: if the inspection did not take place, the United States could stop all aid to Israel. Ben Gurion soon resigned, and his successor, Levi Eshkol, reluctantly agreed to visits by American inspectors.
However, according to some experts, Washington was receiving falsified reports (in all likelihood, inspections did not take place at all). In other words, the president did not have an objective view of Israel’s nuclear program. And the reason for such falsifications (actually lies) is probably today that the American CIA was on Israel’s side. More precisely, on Israel’s side was James Jesus Engleton, the infamous head of CIA counterintelligence. Since 1951, he had headed a department that dealt exclusively with Israel. In 1954, CIA Director Allen Dulles appointed Engleton head of counterintelligence, a position he held for twenty years. Engleton oversaw the agency’s entire relationship with the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad.
“Engleton’s influence on U.S.-Israeli relations from 1951 to 1974 exceeded that of any other Secretary of State, with the possible exception of Henry Kissinger. His influence was largely overlooked by Congress, the press, other democratic institutions, and much of the CIA itself,” Jefferson Morley wrote in a 2018 article titled “CIA and Mossad: ‘Compromises in Shaping U.S.-Israeli Strategic Relations.”
Jefferson Morley has written several books on the close ties between the CIA and Mossad, including the Israeli nuclear program. Among them is the 2017 book The Ghost: The Secret Life of CIA Spymaster James Jesus Angleton. In it, he writes, among other things, that Engleton had regular professional and personal contact with at least six people who knew about Israel’s secret bomb plan. His friends, from Asher Ben-Natan to Amos de Shalit, Isser Harel, Meir Amit, Moshe Dayan and Eval Ne’eman, were involved in building up Israel’s nuclear arsenal. If he learned anything about the secret program in Dimona, he reported very little about it.
The failure of the US nuclear non-proliferation policy, which failed to prevent the emergence of nuclear weapons in the Middle East in the 1960s, is part of Engleton’s legacy, and its consequences will be felt for decades, if not centuries. Another detailed publication about how high-ranking CIA official Engleton worked for Israel and the Mossad is Laurent Guyénot’s article “Engleton, Mossad and the Kennedy Assassinations”. It is also worth mentioning the book “Israel & The JFK Assassination” by the famous American publicist Michael Collins Piper, which was published in 2017 (two years after the author’s death). However, Piper also addressed the topic of the connection between the assassination of John F. Kennedy and Israel and the Mossad in in his previous books. Namely:
“The Final Judgment: The Missing Link in the JFK Assassination Conspiracy” (1993); “New Jerusalem: Zionist Power in America” (2004); “The High Priests of War” (2004); “You Know the Truth, 2013); etc. In total, I counted more than a dozen books by foreign authors in which the version of the assassination of John F. Kennedy by order of Israel and with the participation of the “Mossad” is the main or one of the main ones.
Almost all authors call the most important link in the organization of the assassination of the American president the aforementioned James Engleton and the CIA counterintelligence under his leadership. Sometimes experts call this service “the CIA within the CIA”. The then head of the CIA, John McCone, knew almost nothing about the work of counterintelligence. The Deep State existed already under President John F. Kennedy, but it probably did not include the entire CIA, but only the part of it headed by James Engleton. The reason for the tense relations between Washington and Tel Aviv in the early 1960s was not only the Israeli nuclear program, but also Washington’s efforts to limit the possibilities of the Israeli lobby in the USA. To lobby its interests in the USA, Israel created structures such as the American-Israel Council, headed by the American Zionist Council. Lobbying of interests reached such a scale that in 1962 the Department of Justice and the US Attorney General Robert Kennedy, the brother of the US President, required these structures to register under the FARA law, the US “Foreign Agents Act”.
After the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Vice President Lyndon Johnson, who already fully supported Israel, including its nuclear program, became the master of the White House. This support was manifested not only in Washington turning a blind eye to this program (it no longer insisted on inspections of Israeli nuclear facilities). But also in the transfer of technological secrets and the sending of American nuclear scientists to Israel and Israeli nuclear scientists to the United States. Less than five years after the assassination of John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy was assassinated. There are many versions of Robert’s murder. But almost everyone who has dealt with this criminal story does not exclude this motive for the murder: Robert Kennedy wanted to become American president and wanted to bring the investigation into the murder of his brother John to a conclusion, and he was sure that when he became president, he would have the opportunity to get to the root of the causes of the murder. Therefore, he himself became a victim of an assassination (the investigation of which was also not completed).
This connection between the assassinations of both Kennedy brothers is examined in detail in the book of the famous American journalist David Talbot “Brothers: The Hidden History of the Kennedy Years” from 2007. I return to the beginning of my article. Large volumes of secret archival materials on the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and two other American public figures are still being processed and understood. I am sure that in the near future, thanks to experts, we will be able to get closer to solving the mystery of the three high-profile crimes of the 1960s. However, the available materials allow us to say that even in those distant years, America was far from a sovereign country and was ruled by a deep state.
The version of the involvement of Israel and the “Mossad” in the assassination of the 35th President of the United States today receives additional support thanks to the just-ended “Twelve-Day War” between Israel and Iran. The position of the United States and Donald Trump personally in this war shows that Washington has found itself subordinate to Tel Aviv. More precisely – subordinate to the deep state, an integral part of which is international Zionism. On June 24, 2025, a member of the US House of Representatives, Marjorie Taylor Green, referring to declassified documents, spoke about the direct involvement of Israel in the assassination of Kennedy. “There was once a great president whom the American people loved. He was against the Israeli nuclear program. And then he was assassinated,” the lady wrote on her page on the social network. On the other hand, Donald Trump supports Israel. Therefore, he can hardly expect to remain in the memory of descendants as “a great president whom the American people loved.”
