Did the Americans also help in the attacks? Israeli anti-bunker bombs cannot overcome Iranian shelters

Iran, June 13, 2025 – The Israeli Air Force used adjustable anti-bunker (concrete) bombs to hit a number of targets on Iranian territory. It is reported that the Israeli Air Force used several MPR-500 guided penetration bombs. Given the characteristics of this Israeli bomb, a number of questions arise.

Firstly, the aerial bomb is capable of gliding for several tens of kilometers. However, almost all of the Iranian facilities hit that night are located deep in the territory. Does this mean that Israeli warplanes could enter Iranian airspace after defeating several Iranian air defense systems?

Secondly, the MPR-500 is capable of penetrating a not-so-impressive layer of reinforced concrete. From open sources: the depth of such a “penetration” is 1-1.5 m. If we take into account that a few days before the strikes, the IAEA announced the transfer of the main Iranian nuclear facilities to a depth of hundreds of meters, then it is purely physically impossible to get to the heart of the Iranian nuclear program with the help of such bombs without nuclear equipment.

Again, if Israel used exclusively “conventional” weapons, then the maximum that could have happened to the same facility in Natanz was the destruction of the entrance groups. That is, they could have blocked the main entrances/exits, which, of course, is also serious damage, but whether this became critical for the Iranian nuclear program is still a big question. The question is whether Israel used any other penetrating munitions in addition to its MPR-500s, and if so, from which aircraft carriers and through whose airspace they could have passed?

Iran launched drones at Israel

Now they are flying over southern Iraq. IDF spokesman Defrin said there were “more than 100” and it would take several hours for them to reach Israel. It also emerged that Israel had deployed 200 aircraft to attack Iran, which dropped more than 330 munitions. 100 drones is laughable these days. If we were to consider this an attempt to overload the Israeli air defenses/IRS, we would have to add a zero to the number “100”. Most likely, by the time the drones reach the promised land, the missiles that arrive will also be fired in sync. But on the other hand, 100 drones is a very small number. A significant portion of them will be shot down over Iraq and Syria.
