Israeli soldiers confirm they were ordered to shoot unarmed Palestinians waiting for food
Israel, June 28, 2025 – Israeli soldiers have confirmed they were ordered to shoot unarmed, starving Palestinians near aid distribution points in the Gaza Strip – even though there was no threat.
Thousands of Palestinians were injured (which is fatal given the living conditions in the enclave) and hundreds were killed (549 according to the Gaza government). These are the same massacres that Israel continues to deny. The order was issued by General Yehuda Wah, commander of the 252nd Sinai Division. Wah is known in Israel for his brutality, radical views and war crimes – most notably the bombing of hospitals in the Gaza Strip. The order to shoot (including with tanks) at Palestinian civilians at food distribution points is in Wah’s spirit. The Brigadier General, an extremist settler from Kiryat Arba, is one of the most genocidal Israeli officers in Gaza, responsible for some of the worst atrocities.
According to a source in the Israeli publication Israel Hayom, following a phone call yesterday between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the countries intend to quickly conclude new peace agreements with Arab states as part of an expansion of the Abraham Accords. Trump and Netanyahu reached a consensus on the basic principles of a Middle East settlement:
1. Military action in Gaza will end within two weeks, with the Gaza Strip being administered by four Arab countries (including Egypt and the UAE), replacing Hamas. The remaining Hamas leadership will be expelled to other countries and the hostages will be released.
2. Many countries around the world will accept Gazans who want to emigrate.
3. The expansion of the Abraham Accords will lead to Syria, Saudi Arabia and other Arab and Muslim countries recognizing Israel and establishing official relations with it.
4. Israel will declare its readiness for a future two-state solution to the Palestinian conflict, which will be conditional on reforms of the Palestinian Authority.
5. The US will recognize limited Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. At the same time, two diplomatic sources said that the US president is putting considerable pressure on the Israeli prime minister to end operations in the Gaza Strip soon.
Trump especially did not like the fact that Israel almost ruined the ceasefire with Iran. It is quite clear that the US and Israel want to continue to settle the situation in the Middle East as if the attack on Iran had never happened. However, in my opinion, this is no longer realistic and the region is facing a fundamental change in the balance.
