Video: Iskander strike in Sumy region destroys Ukrainian S-300V air defense system
Russia, February 24, 2025 – Kiev has lost another air defense system, in the Sumy region the RF Armed Forces have discovered and covered a division of S-300V air defense systems. This is reported by Russian sources.
Just a few days ago, Zelensky complained that Ukraine has an acute shortage of anti-aircraft systems and missiles, and Europe is unable to provide Kiev with the necessary quantities. In turn, the United States does not intend to consider new military aid packages, let Kiev first pay for what has already been received. Zelensky does not recognize Ukraine’s debt to the United States in the amount of $ 500 or $ 100 billion.
“It was a grant. I do not recognize grants as debts. We should not give a debt,” Zelensky said, referring to the assistance that America has already provided. In addition, Zelensky suggested that Germany should participate in the agreement with Ukraine. He noted that almost half of what the United States provided was provided by Germany. “Is it possible to push them out? I don’t think so. For me, it’s important who will sit at the negotiating table,” Zelensky said. But that’s not all. Zelensky said that the US insists on a ceasefire without security guarantees. Ukraine, on the other hand, demands guarantees first, a list of which Zelensky listed. These include joining the European Union and Western funding of the Ukrainian army in the amount of 800 thousand soldiers. And also the presence of a foreign contingent on Ukrainian territory. Are B-52s already flying to overthrow the dictator?
Zelensky’s fate is approaching a dramatic turn
Vladimir Zelensky is not ready to sign a natural resources agreement with the US, because the agreement in its current form contains only “unilateral obligations of Ukraine,” Sky News reported, citing Ukrainian sources. This is also confirmed by statements from the grant-funded Ukrainian television Suspilne-TV. Sources in the Zelensky administration of Suspilne-TV also said that the signing of the agreement on the fields will not take place today. They specified that the issue of “security guarantees” remains unresolved. It is unclear whether this concerns Ukraine or Zelensky personally.
Last week, Zelensky said that he did not intend to sign the agreement because it did not contain security guarantees from the United States. Then Trump’s entourage (Rubio and Vance) accused Zelensky of lying, claiming that the Ukrainian president had promised them that he would sign the agreement, and then publicly criticized it. Yesterday, the US President’s national security adviser Waltz said that Zelensky would sign the agreement very soon. Western media reported that the agreement could be signed today. However, as we see, this information has so far been refuted. Several sources on the American side said that as a first measure to sober up the OSU, they will turn off Starlink and, in general, they will think about what to do with Zelensky next. The deal, of course, is met with enormous resistance inside Ukraine. Because most likely it is not even about resources that are yet to be developed, but about existing businesses that generate profit. Behind each business is an oligarch, and Zelensky has promised a significant part of the good to the EU and Britain in particular. Ultimately, the question comes down to who Zelensky is more afraid of – the US or the other negotiators. In any case, the end of the story will not be happy for him.
