Russia, February 26, 2025 – Videos were posted on the network, in which you can see how a Russian army scout from a prone position rushed to attack a Ukrainian soldier with a knife. At the same time, the second Russian attacker from the Aida special forces group Akhmat threw several grenades into the dugout, where the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were.
Judging by the video from the reconnaissance drone camera, it can be assumed that the Ukrainian militant came out of hiding to relieve himself. As the Russian intelligence officer who eliminated him in close combat later explained, instead of neutralizing him with a silent shot, he was forced to engage in close combat. Thus, it is clear that despite the rapid technological progress and the introduction of the latest military technologies, the knife has not lost its relevance and, under certain circumstances, becomes an indispensable assistant that can radically change the balance on the battlefield.
