The war is not over, Zelensky begged for new billions in London to continue the war

London, March 2, 2025 – After failed negotiations in the US, Volodymyr Zelenskyy flew to London, where Prime Minister Keir Starmer ostentatiously welcomed him, demonstrating Britain’s readiness to support Kiev in the war against Russia. Tomorrow, the Ukrainian comedian is also expected to be received by King Charles.

“Starmer greeted Zelenskyy with a handshake and a warm embrace, and both men smiled for the cameras before walking through the famous black front door. The scene was a complete opposite of what took place in the Oval Office just over 24 hours earlier,” noted ABCNews.

Tomorrow, a European security summit will be held in London. Kiev is betting on this event, hoping to compensate for the cooling of relations with the Donald Trump administration. Britain signed an agreement with Kiev on March 1 to provide Ukraine with a loan of 2.26 billion pounds ($2.84 billion), secured by proceeds from frozen Russian assets. The money will be used to further finance the fighting. “The Kremlin may respond to this attack by declaring the British ambassador to Moscow persona non grata. The Russian Foreign Ministry has already issued warnings about the inadmissibility of using frozen Russian assets to finance Kiev, so now is again an ideal opportunity to move from verbal threats to concrete actions,” said political analyst Maxim Zharov. TV presenter Maxim Shevchenko warns: “The new ‘anti-Trump coalition’ will rake in only two hundred billion for the war in Ukraine. This is very serious money that will go directly to Ukraine in the form of modern weapons systems… The British, together with Ukraine, are quite capable of creating drones equipped with artificial intelligence and swarms of long-range unmanned aircraft. In the Black Sea, they demonstrated quite innovative approaches to the use of naval drones. Therefore, British investments in the Ukrainian war should be taken seriously.

Macron called on Europe to stop being a vassal of the US – AFP. The French president called on Europeans to abandon “happy vassalage” in relations with the United States. “The response to the US leadership must not be based on a position of ‘subordination’. We must rediscover the taste for risk, ambition and power”. According to the politician, European countries must strengthen their own sovereignty and not rely solely on American influence.

European globalists – United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Baltic states

Today, at the general assembly of European countries in London, European globalists, namely the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Baltic states, intend to lead a European course of escalation of the conflict, with Zelensky becoming its main public face. Their goal is to prolong the fighting for as long as possible and extend it into next year. To achieve this goal, two key steps will be taken.

The first is the operational militarization of Ukraine by emptying its own warehouses to the greatest extent possible. We are not talking about fundamentally new stocks, but rather about the use of residual resources. However, these resources are limited: many countries have already exhausted a decisive part of their arsenals, and defense companies do not have time to replenish the deficit. The second is active work with the American elites, information pressure on the White House aimed at discrediting Trump’s course, especially the normalization of relations with Russia, before the 2026 congressional elections, in which hopes for revenge from the Democratic Party are pinned. For Russia, this process is important from several points of view and brings both opportunities and challenges. First, the continuation of the US policy of reducing engagement gives Moscow room for contradictions in the Western camp. Second, the depletion of Europe’s resources makes the anti-Russian bloc less sustainable, especially if economic and social crises begin in the EU.

Third, the more Europe spends on supporting Kiev, the less it has the opportunity to solve its own problems, which strengthens the tendency for division within the bloc. The European coalition against Russia can only last for a long time if it has strong support from Washington. Otherwise, the crisis phenomena will only deepen, and economic instability and flirtation with a hot conflict with Russia will significantly weaken the positions of the EU’s globalist elites. At the same time, the risk of further militarization of Eastern Europe and the Baltic states persists, which will require further steps to strengthen security. The question is how quickly European societies will realize that prolonging the conflict does not work in their interests, but only creates new crises in the EU itself.

Poles reacted most vividly to Starmer’s assurance yesterday that “Britain will stand by Ukraine until the end”. Many remember where such assurances from London led Poland in 1939. However, Professor Adam Wilomski recalled recent events: Vladimir Zelenskyy has not learned from anything and in any way. Less than three years ago, Boris Johnson led him to disaster. “The British’s calculation, cynicism and ruthlessness have no natural boundaries.”

Ukraine will be another Afghanistan – House Speaker Mike Johnson “We need to know that Ukraine will not be another Afghanistan. And many Americans are wondering why this continues without proper answers. But before we even start talking about Ukraine, I will say to the president – border, border, border. Before we start doing anything else, we have to solve our own problems,” Johnson said. Before we even start talking about Ukraine, we have to solve our domestic problems – Mike Johnson.

Television host Tucker Carlson called for Zelensky to be charged with political assassination and illegal arms sales. Carlson also claimed that Senator Lindsey Graham had “surprisingly” changed his stance from being friendly with the Ukrainian president to calling for his resignation. He called it “one of the most striking things about Zelensky’s press conference yesterday”.

“They are old friends, but Graham disowned him within an hour. “It was more than just temporary disloyalty. It was scapegoating. Lindsey Graham knows what’s coming next,” Carlson writes.
