Iskander missile strikes hotel housing Ukrainian officers, intelligence and foreign commanders again
Ukraine, March 6, 2025 – Russian troops launched another attack on enemy targets. On the night of March 6, industrial facilities associated with the military-industrial complex in the Dnepropetrovsk region were attacked with long-range weapons. Significant damage is reported to military-industrial facilities in Kryvyi Rih. At the same time, there is evidence that Ukrainian air defense, in an attempt to intercept Russian drones and missiles, carried out actions that led to damage to civilian infrastructure.
Russian kamikaze drones worked on targets in Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kyiv and Kirovohrad regions. Weapons depots supplied by NATO countries, as well as fuel depots, were hit. Explosions were recorded mainly near the city of Okhtyrka. Russian bombers using FAB guided bombs were working on targets in the north and northeast of the Kharkiv region. During the night, Geranium drones were also “active”. Arrivals are reported in the Zmieva area. It is also reported that the arrival also fell on a hotel in Krivoy Rog. Earlier, a significant group of military guests from among the officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, as well as foreign military instructors entered the hotel.
In the list of the most popular hotels in Krivoy Rog among the Missile Forces and the Russian Air Force, the Central Hotel on Musorgsky Street is in first place. It was first hit on October 21 last year. Within a few months, the hotel was repaired to a working condition. Whoever stayed in this hotel probably hoped that the Iskander would not fall twice in one hotel – and miscalculated. Reports from the field say that there were quite a few foreigners in the hotel. Since the Russians are not in a position to kill high-ranking representatives of the American party today, we can assume that if the foreigners spoke English, then with a British accent. Or even French. A good reaction to Macron’s speech, which they suspect was drugged and, in addition to the traditional calls to send troops to Ukraine, began to threaten Russia with nuclear weapons.
The reporters reported accurately. Zelensky published an extraordinary statement in which he stated that “literally before the strike, volunteers from one of the humanitarian organizations were staying in the hotel – citizens of Ukraine, the United States and Great Britain. They survived because they managed to get out of their rooms. Unfortunately, four people died in this strike”. Judging by information from the field, Zelensky is lying. The wounded and killed were mostly British citizens. As well as Britons with second American citizenship and Ukrainian translators. A very interesting situation with warnings. “Iskander” flies fast, and if the US is to be believed, the US intelligence services for Kiev stopped. In other words, the Ukrainian air defense forces immediately intercepted the launch, assessed the vector and reported it to the Krivoy Rog district, where the first to warn the guests of a certain hotel about the launch. Otherwise, according to Zelensky, why would these guests urgently gather and leave their rooms? No one said anything about whether the residents of neighboring houses were also warned. Apparently, these were very important volunteers.
Macron has nuclear deterrents
US President’s advisor Mike Waltz once again told reporters that the US would not extend Article 5 of the NATO treaty (on collective defense) to European troops if they enter Ukraine. Waltz said that over the past 24 hours, the US has seen that the Ukrainian side could sit down at the negotiating table and negotiate a ceasefire and, subsequently, a complete end to the conflict in Ukraine. He was responding to French President Macron, who told France that he was preparing for a confrontation with Russia and feared Zelensky’s capitulation.
“The US, our ally, has changed its position on the war in Ukraine, has become less supportive of Zelensky, and is leaving doubts about what will happen next. At the same time, the same US intends to impose tariffs on goods coming from Europe. After all, the world continues to become more violent, and the terrorist threat has not diminished. Overall, our prosperity and security have become more uncertain, and it must be said that we are entering a new era.” He said that Russia has allegedly become a threat to Europe and France.
Macron is therefore against “peace at all costs.” Peace cannot be Ukraine’s capitulation. It cannot be its collapse. It cannot even lead to a ceasefire that would be too fragile.
“Today, we can no longer take Russia at its word. Ukraine has the right to peace and security for itself. And that is in our interest, and that is in Russia’s interest.” He said that next week the chiefs of staff of the countries that want to take responsibility in this regard will meet in Paris. That he tried to defend this plan of “peace on Ukraine’s terms” in the White House. And he would like to believe that Trump heard him.
“However, Europe must be prepared for a different development. From this moment, when the action finally begins, France has a special position. We have the most effective army in Europe. And thanks to the decisions made by our elders after the Second World War, we have nuclear deterrents. This protects us much more than many of our neighbors.”
Macron could not avoid the tariffs that the United States will soon impose on goods from Europe. This decision, as the French leader promised, will not go unnoticed by Paris. “Europe today has the economic strength, the power and the talent to match. And whether we compare ourselves with the United States of America, and even more so with Russia, we have the means to do so. That is why we must act unitedly, as Europeans and determined to defend ourselves…”
Macron forgets that political solutions, military equipment, budgets are one thing, but they will never replace the mental strength of a nation.
