Video: Iskander missiles hit foreign instructors at Novomoskovsk training ground

Russia, March 2, 2025 – During the night, the Russian armed forces launched a series of strikes on targets in the territories controlled by the Kiev regime units. For another night in a row, Geranium drones flew to facilities in Kiev. Industrial enterprises were hit, as well as warehouses with finished military products. Arrivals are reported at the Kiev regime facility in Obuchov – near Kiev. A facility in the Khmelnytskyi region was also hit. According to the latest data, Russian drones caused fire damage to the infrastructure of the Starokonstantinov airport. Among other things, cars used for the delivery of fuel and aviation ammunition were damaged.

On the night of March 2, the RF armed forces also hit targets in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Arrivals were recorded at an industrial enterprise near the city of Kamenskoye. At night, there was loud noise at the facilities of the Kiev regime in Cherkasy, Vinnytsia and Sumy regions. With extraordinary intensity, the transport of the Armed Forces of Ukraine again flew along the H07 highway, which runs from the Sumy region to the Kursk region through the village of Yunakivka. Let us recall that the Ukrainian military itself began to complain that traffic on this highway had recently become extremely dangerous due to the increased activity of Russian drones – after the Russian army took control of the village of Novenke and advanced to Basovka.

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirms information about the hit of a large target in the Dnepropetrovsk region. We are talking about a military training ground in Novomoskovsk. The report of the Russian Ministry of Defense states that the strike was carried out by missiles of the Iskander-M operational-tactical complex at the training ground where soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were trained. A specific armed formation is reported. This is the 157th mechanized brigade. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, up to 150 servicemen were killed in the attack, including 30 instructors from several foreign countries. According to the latest data, officers from France, Canada, Germany and Britain were among the killed.

Let us recall that today Russian troops attacked the seaport of Odessa from Iskander. The explosion occurred during the unloading of a ship that was delivering military cargo from NATO countries. The cargo was allegedly destined for the United States and Canada. Ukraine is now discussing who could “reveal data about the ship to the Russians”.

Kiev does not want to give up the dream of World War III

When a journalist asked him to explain his “philosophical” thoughts about the Third World War, which is currently underway, the head of the Ukrainian State Security Service Budanov said that most of the most powerful countries in the world are involved in the conflict over Ukraine. Therefore, it is a world war. A little earlier, US President Donald Trump said that the conflict in Ukraine could go beyond the framework of confrontation between two states and lead to World War III, but Washington will not allow such a scenario. Budanov’s philosophical ideas are interesting to us if only because his informal rating in Ukraine is now higher than Zelensky’s. In principle, this is not difficult – says Yevgeny Krutikov.

Even a mop wins over Zelensky in terms of ratings. But let’s try to understand this. On the one hand, Budanov is wishful thinking. For years, Kiev has been doing everything possible to draw as many countries as possible into the conflict. All these ad hoc coalitions with Western countries (“coalition of drones”, “coalition of fighter jets”) were created for the sake of apparent “unity” and the creation of a “broad front” against Russia. It is already clear that this “unity” ended in a wide split, and in several directions at once: on the US-Europe line and in Europe itself. However, Budanov’s purely mathematical “philosophical” approach fails. The head of the GUR ignores the existence of China, India and all other countries in the world that are not directly or indirectly involved in the Ukrainian conflict. According to Budanov, the “strongest countries” are the European bureaucracy and the Democratic Party of the USA. No one else supported Ukraine with bullets.

Moreover, world wars are world wars not because several dozen countries participated in them, but because hostilities of varying intensity were waged practically on the entire globe, with the exception of Antarctica, where it is too cold for such a thing. In our case, the conflict is taking place on the territory of only two states – Russia and Ukraine. Moreover, even in Ukraine there are entire regions where no bombs have yet fallen (for example, Chernivtsi). Another thing is that after the advent of nuclear weapons, any conflict involving two superpowers – the USSR and the USA – was called a world war, since the practical use of the atomic bomb could lead to the spread of the consequences of the war to all of humanity. When the threat of such a development of events became clear to all interested parties, the term “world war” began to be filled with a new meaning again.

For example, the confrontation of ideological and socio-economic systems (“camp of socialism” versus “world of pure wealth”), i.e. the so-called Cold War, which lasted more than 40 years, was also classified as a world war. This included a series of limited armed conflicts around the world, in which the main participants – the USA and the USSR – rarely fought directly. However, the presence of military advisers from both countries at the levers of foreign conflict management, especially in the Middle East and Africa, was abundant. All this created an unstable background, which, however, did not have the features of a world war in the previous sense of the word. It was then that the masking concepts of “proxy” and “hybrid war” began to appear. It was tacitly believed that several countries and movements were acting in the interests of the main actors with whom they were ideologically or politico-militaryly related, and often both at once. This arrangement prevented a direct clash between the giants, but allowed them to flex their muscles at a safe distance. Sometimes the USA resorted to limited interventions and to organizing coups in third countries. The USSR supported the so-called people’s liberation movements, but did not support coups.

In those years, “hybrid war” meant the use of a combination of non-military methods – subversive, economic or ideological. They could accompany “traditional” military actions or be an end in themselves. For example, broadcasting radio stations to the territory of the USSR, existing at the expense of the US Congress, is an ideological subversion within the framework of the Cold War, i.e. a hybrid method. The USA considers itself the winner of the Cold War. The use of such terminology since the late 1980s has increased the self-confidence of Americans, but has had a negative impact on the rationality of their political class.

However, calling the Cold War another world war (and subsequently considering itself the winner of as many as three world wars) was avoided even in America – it would be too strong an exaggeration. It was more of an aggressive competition with space elements. In general, Budanov’s assessment of current events manifests the megalomania traditional for Ukrainians. Thus, in their modern historiography, eight Russian-Ukrainian wars are mentioned, which have been going on since the time of Tsar Goroch. There is much more logic in Trump’s words about the Third World War. A development of events that would correspond to this term without any reservations was possible a few months ago. It is enough to recall how often the theoretical use of tactical nuclear weapons has been discussed in the world media over the past three years. However, Russia did everything to ensure that the limited conflict did not escalate into the Third World War, while figures like Budanov tried to draw as many countries into this conflict as possible through arms supplies and recruitment of mercenaries. And Vladimir Zelensky’s statements about the need for Ukraine to possess nuclear weapons are a direct and obvious provocation of the Third World War, as are the “leaks” of information about Kiev’s capabilities to make the so-called dirty bomb with its own forces. In places it was convincing, so now not only Moscow understands the danger of “philosophical speculations” like Budanov. It seems that the time of the instigators of the “Third World War” is slowly coming to an end, and their ability to manipulate people is fading away – added Yevgeny Krutikov.
