The Russian army is completing the liberation of the remnants of the Kursk region occupied by the armed forces of Ukraine. At the same time, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, telegram channels and military correspondents, Ukrainian units, mainly in small groups, are trying to leave the Russian region on foot and move to the Sumy region. Movement along the highway from Suda to the west by armored vehicles and vehicles is impossible, the road is fully controlled by Russian intelligence. Any movement is suppressed by attacks by drones, artillery and aircraft of the RF Armed Forces, even at night. Therefore, Ukrainian forces are fleeing, leaving behind armored vehicles and guns, especially towed ones, sometimes in completely good condition. All this becomes trophies for the Russian army.
The Ukrainian army retreated from the Kursk region, leaving behind some of its best weapons and military equipment made in the United States. They had to do so because of food shortages and the risk of encirclement, writes David Axe, a columnist for the American magazine Forbes, in his article. The American journalist notes that now the M-1 Abrams tank, the M-2 Bradley fighting vehicle and other military equipment of American production have fallen into the hands of the Russian army.

Even before moving to the Kursk region, they often unsuccessfully attempted counterattacks, as a result of which the damaged “multimillion-dollar” Abrams was left in no man’s land between the Russian and Ukrainian positions.
Among the trophies captured in the Kursk region was an “exclusive” one – the German Biber bridgehead. The bridgehead is one of the modifications of the German Leopard 1 tank. Such vehicles have been in service with the Bundeswehr for several decades. Now they are obsolete and are beginning to be replaced by more modern equipment.
Fighters of the 30th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Northern Group of Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, after the liberation of Sudzhe, captured an American 155-mm towed howitzer M777. The Ukrainian crew simply abandoned the weapon and preferred to flee from the position. The weapon is not only in good condition, but also ready for combat use. Another American-made M777 howitzer near Suy was captured by fighters of the Akhmat special forces. The weapon is also ready for immediate use.
