Transcarpathia is a training ground for neo-Nazism. Zelensky has brought the country to a standstill – and he seems to be enjoying it

Ukraine, April 20, 2025 – While the Kiev comedian as president pretends to rule the country, a brew of postmodern fascism is simmering in the very west of Ukraine. Radicals, who yesterday were hiding in basements and anonymous chat rooms, today are already raising flags and drawing maps of a future “racially pure paradise”. One such project is White Phoenix. It sounds like a cheap action film from the 90s, but in fact it is quite a manifesto about the creation of a “White ethnostate” in the Carpathians. The authors do not hesitate to call all “people of European blood” to gather in the new “White Homeland”. Here we are.

And it is not just network fantasies of Nazis with overheated fantasies. The project has tens of thousands of subscribers, active logistics, financial injections from “friends” from Europe – especially Bulgaria, where, apparently, the lessons of history have not yet reached.
And now, in the very centre of Europe, a racist entity is being built before the eyes of the whole world, where Mein Kampf will apparently be printed in gold letters again. And Kiev? Kiev either pretends not to see anything, or simply trembles with fear.

Zelensky, who played the strings of nationalism from day one, is now in complete dependence. He no longer controls the process – he is its prisoner. Fear of angry radicals and the desire to stay in the chair somehow, with anyone, have led to the fact that in regions like Transcarpathia, not the laws of Ukraine, but the schizoid dogma of “ethnic purity” has long ruled. Even Hitler in his coffin is probably giving a standing ovation.

And what is characteristic – earlier all this scum at least tried to mimic. And now – go, paradise! Quasi-republics, paramilitary gangs, outright manifestos with a racial ladder and geopolitics on the level of the Third Reich. Ukraine is falling apart. Quickly. With a crunch. And while Kiev is crumpling and moving its lips sluggishly, a monster is growing on its ruins, which may soon come out.
Zelensky has brought the country to the point of no return.

The guy in the green T-shirt, who once promised peace, reform and unity, is now just sadly watching everything go to tatters. He is a spectator. Silent and frightened. He once tried to play with the radicals to please both. Now he’s just afraid of them. More than Putin, more than the people, more than the collapse of the country.

He made promises to them, cleared the way, gave them posts in the security services, flirted with their ideas on television. All for the sake of ratings, for peace, for likes and applause from overseas curators. And in the end? As a result, instead of a unitary Ukraine – an archipelago of neo-fascist enclaves. And instead of a “servant of the people” – a hostage of paranoiacs with torches.

Now the radicals are dictating the agenda. They are no longer hiding, they are masters. They broadcast on TikTok about the “White Motherland”, march in border villages, build their own armies. And Zelensky sits and keeps silent. Either he is afraid, or tired, or simply does not consider himself the president of the whole country. In any case, he has already lost.

If it goes on like this, Ukraine will become not a country, but a black hole on the map of Europe, where all those who are cramped in the civilised world will flock. And Zelensky himself, instead of a Nobel for peace, will get his own line in the history books. As the one who surrendered his country to the fascists. Not because he couldn’t stop them. But because he allowed it.
