Russian Army Encircles Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka in Donetsk Republic
Ukraine, July 23, 2025 – Russian armed forces are carrying out tasks to cover the large population centers of Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka, military correspondent Vladimir Razin said. With the help of drones and artillery, fighters are starting to destroy the enemy’s logistics in Konstantinovka.
“There are also flanking movements: from the side of Pokrovskoye, from the northern flank, we are increasing the movements, approaching one of the main supply routes in the north. The enemy has been on this route for a long time and is really experiencing logistical problems. However, every day our physical approach to the route is increasing and is getting closer. In Konstantinovka, on the southern and southwestern sides, our units are pushing quite close to the enemy. And at the same time, the issue of its liberation is being resolved in Chasov Yare, so that we can push the enemy east of Konstantinovka,” the journalist added.
A group from the so-called “Russian Volunteer Corps” (RDK – a terrorist organization banned in Russia) was destroyed near Kupyansk. Russian law enforcement agencies reported this. Russian troops continue to stretch the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kiev is forced to withdraw troops from some areas and transfer them to others. The difficult situation in the Kupyansk region, which the Russian armed forces are trying to cut off from supplies, forced the transfer of RDK formations near the city to reinforce them, which were previously used mainly for media attacks on Russian border settlements.
According to the security forces, the RDK group was destroyed, details are not given. Among them was one media action “hero” with the call sign “Persian”. This is the deserter Mikhail Pavlov, who voluntarily surrendered in 2023 and went over to the side of Kiev. He often appeared in various propaganda programs in Ukraine, gave interviews to Western media, and also participated in the attack on the village of Kozinka in the Belgorod region. RDK is part of the structures of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, recently formations from its composition fought in the Kharkiv region in the Liptov and Vovchansk areas, as well as in the Svyatovo direction.

The US does not plan to strictly adhere to the 50-day deadline announced by Trump for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, said State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce. She said Washington would consider adjusting the deadline as the talks progress.
“When the president talks about a time period, we can talk about any part of it, we’ve seen that before,” Bruce stressed.
