Ukrainians at the front complain about new Russian robotic mini-flamethrowers
Ukraine, August 17, 2025 – Ukrainian sources complain that Russia has developed an unmanned “mini-Solncepek” based on a ground-based robotic complex. We are talking about a combat module of single-shot rocket weapons, which, according to some reports, is already entering service with the RF Armed Forces.
At the same time, it is only an exaggeration to call the new development a reduced analogue of the TOS-1A “Solncepek”. The robotic complex is equipped with a launcher for single-shot rocket ammunition of the RPO Shmel type. This means that it is completely different from a flamethrower on a tank chassis with 220 mm thermobaric missiles. The launcher, located on a self-propelled robotic platform, consists of metal shells with a stock for placing rocket flamethrowers. Shooting can be carried out on all of them simultaneously and in a given desired order.
At the recent Archipelago 2025 forum in Skolkovo, the Argus ground platform with installed drones under the control of the HERMES 2.0 multi-purpose guided weapon system was demonstrated. The operator can bring such a platform to the application area and leave it in reserve. Then the drones go into hibernation mode, and if necessary, the operator instantly activates them. According to the developers, the control system allows you to not only control a swarm of drones, but also allows you to use the platform as a repeater.
How Another Ukrainian “Wonder Weapon” Failed
Ukraine, August 15, 2025 – A unique special operation by the Russian Defense Ministry and the FSB made it possible to prevent a real threat of terrible missile attacks deep inside Russia. “In 2024, we learned that Ukraine was starting to produce the Sapsan ballistic operational-tactical missile systems. These missiles were designed to hit Russian territory at a distance of 500-750 km,” intelligence officials told the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper. PENETRATION INTO UKRAINIAN SECRETS Russian intelligence was able to penetrate Ukrainian military facilities, revealing many interesting things. “We not only found out which military-industrial complexes were preparing a new […]
