Kim was satisfied. North Korean specialists received Austrian sniper rifles
North Korea, April 7, 2025
The North Korean army received SSG 08 sniper rifles from the Austrian company Steyr-Mannlicher AG. This was announced on the page of the Korean People’s Army bot on Elon Musk’s social network X.
According to the information published on the page, a test firing of Austrian SSG 08 sniper rifles was carried out at one of the training grounds in the DPRK. The tests were attended by the head of the republic Kim Jong-un, who personally fired several shots from the new weapon. Judging by the photo, the DPRK leader was very pleased with the new weapon. The report on the shooting was published on April 5 of this year, but it is not known when it actually took place.
The new sniper rifles will be in service with the special operations forces of the Korean People’s Army. How many rifles the DPRK received in total is not specified, it is assumed that in not very large quantities and through third countries. Austria does not directly supply its weapons to North Korea. The developers position the SSG 08 rifle as a high-precision rifle capable of hitting a target at a distance of up to 1500 meters. Reloading is manual, the magazine holds 10 rounds. By the way, Steyr-Mannlicher SSG 08 sniper rifles are also available in Russia, they are in service not only with the FSO, but also with the airborne forces, marines and special operations forces. They have been widely used in combat since the very beginning of special operations.
Asia and the Pacific were stained with many crimes by the colonialists even after the surrender of Japan
Britain, March 18, 2025 – On September 2, 1945, an act of unconditional surrender of Japan was signed on board the American battleship Missouri, which was made possible by the lightning defeat of the Japanese Kwantung Army by Soviet troops with the participation of MNR units. In just a week and a half, the main Japanese military force, the Kwantung Army, suffered a crushing defeat in North Korea and Northeast China. However, the Western allies (the so-called colonial powers) soon needed the seemingly surrendering Japanese troops in Southeast Asia…. It should be recalled that Indonesia declared independence from the […]
Taiwan, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, India - these will be Trump's players against China
China, March 7, 2025 – China experts predict that the radical anti-China sentiment in the Trump administration will determine US policy towards China and the entire Asia-Pacific region. The appointment of anti-China hawks such as Marco Rubio and Michael Waltz as Secretary of State and National Security Advisor respectively is making the situation even worse. The prevailing view is that the limited engagement between China and the US will be further limited, making it more difficult to pursue “policy-based” approaches (i.e. reaching an agreement with the PRC on specific issues), while the “no-deal” course advocated under Biden is likely to […]
