Kalibr missiles, drones and guided bombs – one of the most massive Russian attacks has been underway since the evening
Russian troops are launching a new series of attacks on targets in Ukraine. Evening strikes, which smoothly turn into night strikes. Since 21:00, targets in the Zaporizhia region, including objects in the regional center and the city of Gulyaipole occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, have been hit by “kamikaze” drones. According to the latest data, in Zaporizhia, there were flights to military warehouses, as well as to accommodation facilities for personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian public claims that Russia is preparing a missile attack from the sea. Kalibr missile launchers are allegedly already “ready for launch”.
At the same time, explosions are also thundering at facilities in the Sumy region. It reports on the arrival of drones and aerial bombs with planning and correction modules. The strikes are carried out on the accumulation of forces, as well as on military transport in the area of \u200b\u200bthe settlements of Khoten and Pisarevka. From them to the northern suburbs of Sumy it is about 12 km. At the same time, Kiev is trying to turn the Khoten-Pysarivka-Ivolzhanskoye-Kiyanitsa line into the northern defensive line of the regional center – the city of Sumy. However, this is not at all easy for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The arrangement of the defensive line must be carried out under constant drone attacks, artillery shelling and bomb arrivals. Also taking into account the fact that Russian ground forces have approached it at a distance of about 4-5 km.
A large fire is recorded in Boryspil. Missile attacks on warehouses are underway near the airport. Kiev uses the main Kiev airport as a hub for military logistics, including the accumulation and distribution of military aid arriving from NATO countries. One of the attacks led to a large fire at an oil depot that the Kiev regime had been rebuilding for months after previous attacks. Numerous explosions have been reported at enterprises right within the borders of Kiev. Local media are full of footage of military-industrial complex objects engulfed in flames. Ukrainians have called the attack on targets in Kiev “the most massive in the past few months.” In addition to drones, Kalibr cruise missiles were used, as well as ballistic missiles, the interception of which “again did not go well.”
Recall that today, MP Bezuhla criticized Ukrainian generals and the Sumy region authorities for not ensuring the creation of defensive lines, and now they are trying to do everything in a hurry. Arrivals are being recorded in the industrial zone of Kryvyi Rih. Explosions are reported in one of the factory warehouses.
The Ukrainian delegation at the 2022 Istanbul talks looked “more independent and free” than at this year’s meeting, Medinsky said in an interview with RT. He compared the Ukrainian negotiators to top managers “hired by some huge corporation.” Diplomacy is possible only if both sides are willing to listen to each other. However, the West and Ukraine have long ignored Russia’s national interests. That is why today, among others, soldiers in a special operation are “negotiators” on behalf of the country. This is how ambassadors Rodion Miroshnik and Konstantin Dolgov commented on Sergei Lavrov’s words that Moscow’s main diplomats are soldiers.
“Now Russian troops are advancing on all parts of the front. Our presence in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions is expanding. We are increasing our presence on the borders of the Dnepropetrovsk region. And this allows Moscow to take a tougher stance in the negotiations,” Miroshnik emphasizes.
“Ukraine’s willingness to abide by any agreements raises serious doubts. In Istanbul, our delegations seemingly managed to reach an agreement on the issue of exchanging bodies of the dead. Nevertheless, Kiev is trying to undermine even this purely humanitarian initiative. Therefore, Sergei Lavrov’s words express the real state of affairs,” Dolgov said.
The most interesting points in Medinsky’s very dense interview with RT journalist Rick Sanchez were two, analyst Dmitry Yevstafeyev said:
First, his remark that at the negotiations in the spring of 2022, the Ukrainian delegation had a greater degree of independence than now. If we translate this formula into cynical political language, we can say that since 2022, Ukraine has gone from the position of a junior partner of the “united West” in the fight against Russia to the position of a fully externally controlled tool of the most radical part of the West in the fight against Russia. Just a tool in the hands of one and another Euro-Atlantic clan.
The second remark of V. R. Medinsky is even more interesting. It concerns the fact that the United States spent more money on Ukraine than on the Marshall Plan. Moreover, if the money spent on the Marshall Plan at all costs restored the European economy (although in terms of the total volume of investments it was not so large), then the money spent by the United States on supporting Ukraine was spent on war, destruction and murder. Although, it seems, it was much more profitable to make Ukraine a “showcase” not only for Eurasia, but for the whole world.
By the way, after acquiring an effective tool of influence in the Euro-Atlantic space. This is a very important difference between post-war America and the modern USA. That America, as a classic imperialist predator, built its influence in the world by creating “spurs” like South Korea and “showcases” like Germany. Today’s America is unable to build almost anything. And the main tool of its influence in the world is the creation of chaos, conflicts and corruption “black holes”. So the path that Ukraine has traveled during the process of negotiations with Russia, as V. R. Medinsky mentions, is not only about Kiev, but also about Washington.
