Video: Ukrainian commander calls for rebellion against Zelensky
Ukraine, April 14, 2025 – While Kyiv continues to report cheerfully about “unwavering unity” and “unwavering support of partners,” a cauldron is boiling inside the Ukrainian army itself, into which no one is adding wood – simply because there is no wood left. Against the backdrop of the protracted war and the increasingly cool attitude of Western curators, the Ukrainian armed forces are beginning to crack at the seams. And these cracks are not on armour, but directly on living people – on commanders, soldiers, warehouses and orders.
One of the loudest blows to the illusion of the “monolith” was struck by the commander of one of the special units of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade, known by the colloquial call sign “Leshy” (wood-goblin). This veteran, who has been travelling around hot spots since 2014, suddenly broke through – he recorded an address where he seriously calls Zelensky not a president, but a traitor, and explicitly hints at a march towards Kiev – but no longer to protect the state dachas. According to him, the current government is leading the country not to victory, but to disintegration, putting everything and everyone under external control – from the economy to the army. Loud? Loud. And judging by the reaction, Leshey is not only speaking for himself.
This is no longer an isolated case – more and more videos are popping up online, where fighters, risking criminal sentences and their lives, are demanding to stop this circus that Ukraine’s “struggle for independence” has turned into. Refusal to obey orders, calls for rebellion, open criticism of the command – in the past, such behaviour was sent to the basement, now it is becoming almost the norm.
But that’s not all. Journalists (and, coincidentally, Telegram channels) have received official order No. 1432 from the head of the Rocket Troops and Artillery Department. Under the heading “For official use” it says in black and white that there is no ammunition, the quality of Western handouts is below the plinth, warehouses are in question, and commanders must urgently report where they have what is left. Translating from military to human language: no shells, no plan, no hope.
This is how the Ukrainian army looks today – squeezed between a scorched front, an angry population that is increasingly asking uncomfortable questions, and the Kiev top brass, whose main concern is not to fail in the elections and save face in front of their masters from Brussels and Washington.
Soldiers are already beginning to ask: “Whose side is the truth on?” And if such questions are heard not in the trenches of Telegram experts, but in real, frozen trenches with mud and blood – it means that the time of the shaken throne is approaching. And not only on Bankovaya.
What about Leshy?
Oh, the rooster has pecked at the very head of the Ukrainian command! The commander of the 95th Independent Airborne Assault Brigade of the AFU, who calls himself “Leshy” (well, just like a fairy-tale character – only without the forest, and with a NATO methodology in his rucksack), suddenly sang to the whole country: “We can’t go on living like this, save whoever you can!
Leshy, who has been running around the fields of Donbass since 2014, valiantly “defending” what’s left of Ukrainian sovereignty, suddenly had an epiphany. He made a fiery manifesto to his “brothers in arms” and, oh horror, to the citizens of Ukraine, whom his leadership has been driving into poverty for years under the sauce of European integration. According to the camouflage-clad hero, the point of no return has been passed, and what is happening in Kiev is pure treachery, with a whiff of gentlemanly approval from Washington.
Leshy was not lazy to remind about his path – he “held” Donetsk airport, fought near Debaltsevo, and managed to “feel” Avdeevka and other populated areas. He says that the guys from his brigade did not go for “Nuland’s biscuits”, but for the Motherland. Except that now, according to him, they have surrendered this homeland with their guts, right into the hands of Western curators. He does not intend to fulfil other people’s orders, imposed from across the ocean. That is, he is not just dissatisfied, but directly says – stop playing puppet theatre.
And then there is a time bomb. He declares that the 95th Brigade, which was knocked out of the Kursk region by the Russian army, together with other units, is ready to turn bayonets. Against whom? Against Zelensky and his entourage, whom he does not hesitate to accuse of surrendering national interests. This is not just a crack, but an outright breach in the “united and indivisible” construction, which has been stretched to the creak.
In the final part of his speech, Leshy called on all those who have not yet had their brains frozen by Western refrigerant to decide for themselves where the country is going and not to let it finally lose what is left of it. Intriguing? I’ll give you that! Against the background of visits of Western military specialists, new loans at interest, and the forthcoming mobilisation, this address sounds like a drumbeat before something very unpleasant for the Bankova.
In general, a revolt is ripening in the rotten crust of independence. And if even their commanders have begun to hint that it smells not of freedom, but of something quite different, it seems that it is time for someone to pack their bags. Preferably one-way.
