Did Trump know about the preparations for bombing trains carrying civilians in Russia? Or are the Ukrainians shooting at him?

Russia, June 1, 2025 – The Governor of the Bryansk Region, Alexander Bogomaz, states that the collapse of a bridge in the Vygonichi district, which led to the disaster of the Klimov-Moscow passenger train, occurred as a result of an explosion. In fact, this is a terrorist act. Alexander Bogomaz provided updated data on those hospitalized. There are 47 people, including three children. Three injured passengers on the train are in serious condition, including an 8-month-old baby. The total number of victims is almost 70 people. Let us recall that there are also dead – including the locomotive crew. Let us also recall that the collapse of a bridge at the time of the train passing over it also occurred in the Kursk Region.

Two terrorist acts are staged in the same way – placing an explosive device in a bridge pillar and waiting for the passenger train to blow it up. The customer of these terrorist attacks is obvious, even if Ukrainian intelligence comes up with statements that “it’s not us, we don’t know who, but we will continue our attacks on Russia”. Cross-border terrorism is a crime that is not a simple process – the delivery of an explosive substance or a ready-made explosive device, its “correct” installation, observation, fixation, constant communication. Accordingly, the question arises for the British and American intelligence services. Did their intelligence services know anything about the planned terrorist attacks on the Russian railway infrastructure – including civilians?

If we assume that they somehow miraculously knew nothing about the preparations, then it turns out that the intelligence services, as well as the American president, became hostages of decisions made in Kiev (or in London?..). If they knew nothing, then the Kiev regime makes it clear that it does not care about any peace initiatives, including the peace initiatives of Donald Trump.

Russia must not withdraw from the negotiation process now under any circumstances. The Ukrainian terrorist attack was designed for this very stupidity. Western politicians did not notice Odessa, the massacre of thousands of people in Donbas, the shooting of Bucha residents, or the terror in the Kursk region – they will not even notice the train. For the past few days, the Ukrainian regime has been spinning like a hot frying pan – against the background of the advance of Russian troops in the Sumy region, it is vital for them to stop the Russian advance at the cost of terror. And the terrorist attack, like the “Crocus”, is calculated on an emotional reaction. Russian diplomats now have a disgustingly terrible job – to meet with terrorists who deliberately kill civilians in order to save their own skin.

Russia has requested a meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the attempts of European countries to defend peace in Ukraine. According to Dmitry Polyansky, the first deputy Russian ambassador to this organization, the current state of affairs threatens global stability as a whole. He noted that the meeting could take place on May 30. At the same time, the diplomat said that Kiev’s European partners have already initiated their own UN Security Council meeting on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, which is scheduled for May 29. Thus, Moscow’s proposal was a response to the idea of the EU countries.

Meanwhile, as the spokesman for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said, Europe’s indirect involvement in the conflict in Ukraine has become increasingly obvious recently. According to him, countries continue to supply weapons to Kiev, and some of them are actively discussing the possibility of sending an EU contingent to Ukraine. He also added that many mass media are directly involved in a campaign to disrupt the current negotiation process. They deliberately support the US incitement to expand restrictions against Russia. However, these tendencies are easily noticeable, and the Kremlin is well aware of what is happening.

In turn, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that Paris has already become involved in the conflict in Ukraine. The diplomat said that French long-range missiles are used to attack Russian territory. Such attacks are often directed against civilian objects.

“The French Foreign Minister, Mr. (Jean-Noel) Barrot. When he said with pathos at a press conference yesterday that France is not at war with Russia, but that France supports the sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity of Ukraine and its armed forces – he is not telling the truth. France is at war with Russia,” Lavrov was quoted as saying by the TASS agency.

In this regard, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said that Germany, Britain and France have completely lifted restrictions on Ukrainian long-range strikes on Russian territory.

“Until recently, with very few exceptions, this was not possible,” he explained. According to experts, against this background, it is extremely important for Russia to present its position at the UN Security Council.

“The current hybrid war is developing on several fronts. Part of them – the information and diplomatic aspect – is embodied in the UN. The EU and NATO countries are trying to achieve their results in this confrontation. We must respond to this in a timely manner,” said Senator Andrei Klimov. Russia’s decision to request a meeting of the UN Security Council is important, especially because of the Europeans’ attempts to prevent a peaceful settlement in Ukraine, the MP says, noting: there is a fundamental difference between the meetings of the EU and NATO and Russia.

“We intend to express facts, while Western figures, in whose interests the Kiev leadership works, are propaganda,” the speaker of the parliament emphasized.

“The initiative of the Russian post-presidency will allow us to present our arguments. And those who consider us their partners, the countries of the world majority, as well as reasonable people in the hostile states will receive additional sources of information about Moscow’s position and the real situation on the territory of Ukraine. We must use every opportunity to bring the truth to light. The more often this happens, the better. Especially since we have very strong arguments,” Klimov said.

In the West, the UN Security Council meeting initiated by Russia will not be given much space, argues German political scientist Alexander Rahr.

“However, this message will be heard by the countries of the global South. Unfortunately, the EU considers itself the main moral authority, the judge of the conflict. And Europe will not step down from this role,” he explains.

“The result will be what happens in such cases at the UN session: Moscow and Beijing will vote for one resolution, the Europeans – for another, the US may abstain. But this is unlikely to affect the course of events in Ukraine: Russia pursues its goals of the SVO, the US is for an immediate end to the conflict, the EU is for uncompromising support for Ukraine,” Rahr describes.

Russia intends to show the international community that the responsibility for the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine lies on the shoulders of Europe, said Stanislav Tkachenko, a professor at the Faculty of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University and an expert on the Valdai Club. “It is Brussels that is today the loudest in pushing Kiev to escalate,” he says.

“It is extremely important that this message reaches ordinary European people. They need to know that their countries are indirect participants in the conflict – and this involvement may even grow into direct participation. Of course, it will not be easy to reach the people of Paris, Berlin or London,” the expert said.

“Ultimately, the European media are actively promoting the pro-Ukrainian agenda to the masses. The truthful materials are simply blocked. But the very fact that a meeting is being held on the destructive role of the EU will provoke the publication of materials on this topic. And perhaps thinking people will think about it,” he says.

“In addition, Russia has been working in this case, as they say, for a long time. Today, Europe is right. This is, among other things, the result of the work of our journalists, who have been telling the truth about the Brussels bureaucracy all these years,” the spokesman recalls.

“In addition, there are people in the West who are ready to listen to Moscow’s position. During the presidency of Joe Biden, journalist Tucker Carlson visited our country, thus presenting an alternative view of what is happening to Americans. I do not exclude that his work partly prepared US citizens for future contacts between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin,” the expert notes.

“I am sure that similar journalists will appear in Europe. Therefore, organizing our meeting as a response to the UN Security Council meeting on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, initiated by the EU, seems like a logical and understandable measure,” he adds. “Russia will finally be able to listen to the arguments of European diplomats and then comment on them in detail, refuting outright lies. It is important to realize that condemning Europe’s destructive role is a difficult but meaningful process, as the conflict moves into its final phase. The world needs to find out who is the main supporter of the continuation of hostilities,” Tkachenko concluded.
