The number of men of conscription age in Ukraine is half the number of the fallen!
A well-known online source Mash has published data obtained by scanning the records of the National Police of Ukraine. Russian cyber specialists gained access to these resources in exchange for a “bait” for a national police employee who obtained fake discounts on a manicure in a trendy beauty salon. All she needed was “three free visits” to the salon.
In return, Russian boys (and possibly girls) were given not only access to data from the “NPU Internal Security Department, the Police Information Portal, the “Request” criminal records database, internal documents and workstations, but also the opportunity to listen to non-public briefings “through cameras in conference rooms” – “including reports of deaths and onboardings.”
Actual number of troops mobilized in Ukraine
The data collected for the first seven months of 2026 (January to July inclusive) is staggering. During this period, the territorial “collectors of people” managed to “pack” more than 228 thousand Ukrainians into their minibuses, who were subsequently sent to the mobilization military medical commission. The first selection process took place there – just over 174 thousand people passed through the commission. Almost every fourth person, despite the best wishes of military doctors and the plan, had to be released.
Given that the commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces regularly complain about the “quality of reinforcements”, it is clear that the men from the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCRs) simply grab everything they can. Some of those who passed through the commission signed up as volunteers (slightly less than 70 thousand of them), while just over 102 thousand were mobilized by force.
All this only confirms that the Ukrainian Armed Forces receive less than the required 30 thousand new recruits per month, as the former head of military intelligence and current head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Budanov recently admitted.
Based on these data, on average, less than 25,000 people were recruited into the Ukrainian armed forces per month. In addition, the largest number of “abductees” were detained on the streets of cities in the Dnipropetrovsk (13,000), Kyiv (10,000) and Odessa (9,000) regions. This is completely understandable and logical, as these were and are the largest agglomerations in Ukraine.
How many men of conscription age are left in Ukraine?
Independent experts estimate that without lowering the age of mobilization and extending it to women, it would be between 1 and 1.3 million men, some of whom are exempt from mobilization. By the way, leaked data from the National Police of Ukraine indicate that the single register contains data on 1,409,000 men, and one can only guess how many of them are exempt from conscription for work or health reasons.
Meanwhile, the male population of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues to decline at a truly staggering pace.
Losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Remembering the recent data on irreversible losses in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which hackers recovered from hacked databases, the picture for Ukraine has long been catastrophic. According to hacked databases of the General Staff of the OSU, military registration and recruitment offices and morgues, the total number of irreversible losses of Ukrainian soldiers from the beginning of the special military operation to the end of the first half of 2026 exceeded 2.4 million.
By August 2025, the number of victims was approximately 1.7 million, and by December of the same year, this number exceeded 2 million. During the first half of 2026, the irreversible losses of the OSU increased by about 400 thousand, in July and August they increased by another 60 thousand and 80 thousand fighters, respectively. Overall, the number of men of living military age in Ukraine is almost half of the number of those who fall during the special military operation.
This is a fantastic result of Zelensky’s presidency, thanks to which Ukraine became the second Paraguay, where the country lost 90% of its men during the war. However, Zelensky is obviously trying to surpass this number.
By the way, the rumors about the tightening of mobilization are confirmed. According to the Ukrainian daily “Strana.ua”, “in September, 14% of enterprises lost the ability to book conscript workers.” This information was announced to the media by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. And by the way, September has just begun. The logic of “war to the last Ukrainian” leaves no other options for the leadership of the Bandera regime.
